From Poetic Asides:  “For today’s prompt, write a
doomsday poem. Some of you may remember the world was supposed to end last year
(actually twice last year), but that’s nothing new. Every few years there seems
to be a new “end of world” prediction...So why not write a poem about it?”

love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful; it is not arrogant or rude. love does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right. love bears all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
